You are encouraged to design your own question. Common directions include exploring patterns in some data of interest, supported with the course pipelines:
For sports, dance, and rehabilitation — pose tracking to quantify posture, efficiency, and injury risk. (Module 01A)
Extract audio features (pitch stability, timing), track progress over time, design wellness soundscapes or music therapy. (Module 01B)
Extract poses, classify behaviors, and forecast behavior in novel videos. (Modules 01A + 02)
Analyze human activity data from the internet alongside external variables such as climate trends or economic indicators. (Module 02)
How to scope your own¶
A good project is answerable with the data and time you have, and meaningful to the field. Use Research Guide 01 to turn your interest into two primary research questions and one backup, each tied to a measure, an analysis, and a planned figure.
